As of Wednesday, the 18th of January, a new television program called Wonen.tv is aired on tv-channel één. The program focuses on living in all its aspects: viewers and readers are given tips and information about living, renting, selling and renovating houses. Besides a TV format, the program also has an elaborate website that offers surfers a virtual visit to the houses seen on television. To make this happen, VRT Sandbox collaborated with the company YUME VR and the editorial team of wonen.tv to build a 360° video player for the web.Read More

VRT is moving the VRT-EBU LiveIP Studio to IBC in Amsterdam. This, first in the world live television production studio that relies on IP, is paving the future. This studio was driven by VRT Sandbox and the EBU , and powered by a long list of partners.

Belgian public broadcasting company VRT and European Broadcasting Union (EBU) announced today that IBC TV will be using the VRT-EBU LiveIP studio production set-up to shoot, edit and produce some of the programs covering the IBC 2016 conference and exhibition in Amsterdam, 8-13 September.
